Singaporean label Darker Than Wax heads to Texas for a fresh 12" from Houston-born producer Oye Manny. Drawing on his Colombian roots and a keen sense of what moves dancers, Manny puts percussion front and centre: chord-driven house stompers 'Malta Sip' and 'Palmira' on the A side, the darker club tones of 'Visaje' and the slick musicality of 'Youthful Expression' on the flip. Dexter Colt completes the package with a deeper, Chicago-inspired remix of 'Malta Sip'.
